Description:

This course is aimed at staff who work on reception in outpatient clinic areas, including Outpatient Care Assistants.

During the course you will learn how to navigate around Cerner applications, and use the work lists to manage clinics. You will learn how to check-in patients and mark them as DNA, as well as how to manage patient outcomes and book their follow-ups. The course also covers managing appointments, including appointment enquiries, cancellations and rescheduling as well as tracking casenotes.

Note: This course is now scheduled to last a day, which is a response to feedback from delegates about the course previously not being long enough for the content that was covered.
